Zapier Setup
Overview
Zapier is a tool that allows you to connect your favorite apps and automate workflows. With Zapier, you can connect BillingLogix to thousands of other apps to automate your work and be more productive.
Prerequisites
Before you start, you’ll need the following:
- A BillingLogix user account with an API access keys enabled
- A Zapier account
Zapier Setup
Log in to your Zapier account.
If you don’t have a Zapier account, you can create one for free at zapier.com.
Click the Create Zap button.
To create a new Zap, click the Create Zap button in the top left corner of the Zapier dashboard.
Search for BillingLogix in the Search Bar.
When asked to choose an app, search for BillingLogix in the search bar.
Choose a BillingLogix Trigger Event
Click on the BillingLogix app and choose a trigger event. You can choose from the following trigger events:
- New Member
- New Prospect
- Tag Added to Account
- Tag Removed From Account
Connect Your BillingLogix Account
After selecting the trigger, you’ll need to connect your BillingLogix account to Zapier. Click on the Choose an Account button and then click on the Connect a New Account button.
After you click on the Connect a New Account button, you’ll be asked to enter your BillingLogix Account Subdomain, API Access Key and Secret Key. You can find these in your BillingLogix account under Profile > API Keys.
BillingLogix API Keys
To connect your BillingLogix account to Zapier, you’ll need to enter your API Access Key and Secret Key. Here’s how you can find them:
- Log in to your BillingLogix account.
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen and to to your Profile page.
Generate API Keys
- Click on API Keys and from there you can generate a new API Access Key and Secret Key by clicking on the Add New API Key button.
Copy API Keys
- Copy your API Access Key and Secret Key.
Next Steps
Once you’ve connected BillingLogix to Zapier, you can create Zaps to automate your workflows. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Create a new client in BillingLogix when a new lead is added in your CRM.
- Create a new prospect in BillingLogix when a new contact is added in your email marketing tool.
- Update a client’s status in a CRM when their status changes or when a tag is added/removed in BillingLogix.
